VETERS.KZ is a team of like-minded people united by one passion - love for nature and the most diverse hobbies related to it: hunting, fishing, mountaineering, tourism and many others. We do not leave aside the topic of travelling, both in our native land and in distant countries.
We promote a careful attitude to the world around us as the only undisputed value. And the preservation of this treasure is impossible without the organic coexistence of the rapidly growing world population and nature.
First of all, we are talking about ecotourism as a direction that can meet human needs in the use of natural resources without jeopardising their further reproduction. Taking into account that there is no precise and generally accepted definition of ecotourism in our time, the team of the magazine understands this phenomenon quite broadly. Namely - as an active form of human recreation, as a relationship between man and nature, based on civilised use of natural resources without damaging nature itself (no doubt including in ecotourism such forms of nature use as hunting and fishing on the basis of an effective system of hunting and fishing economy).
The "Wind of Wanderings" project is the first publication in Kazakhstan and Central Asia with a clear focus on ecotourism, nature conservation and rational use of fauna and flora. From 2006 to December 2022 the paper version of the magazine was published, then we changed the format and became an "online edition".
